St Benedicts School

In 2004 the BOT prepared a 10 year development plan, in conjunction with the Catholic Schools Board, Wellington.

The first stage of this plan has been successfully completed with the junior school facilities being upgraded. This has included:

• Heat pumps installed in several classrooms.
• Renovation of both blocks of bathrooms in the junior school;
• Facilities provided for disabled students;
• A lift to aid disabled access between floors.

Developments completed so far in 2009 include:

• The construction of an 11th classroom.
• The installation of heat pumps in all remaining classrooms.
• The construction of a sun shade in the playground.
