Room 8 is a fantastic class or year 6 students. The teacher is Miss Elizabeth Borkin. We're lucky - we have the mixed class of boys AND girls! We started the year with a camp at Forest Lakes in Otaki and we all loved it! We went on the water slide, mud slide and flying fox as well as kayaking and horse riding! It was a fantastic way to start the year. In term 2 we are looking at New Zealand and its history. We hope to find out how people came to New Zealand hundreds of years ago. We have a lot of questions that we hope to answer over the next few weeks. We work closely with room 9, the other year 6 class, by cross grouping for English and Mathematics. We love it! |
