Room 7 is a hard working class of Year 5 students with four Year 4 students. We always try to work together as a team and support each other. We have 29 students in our class and our teacher is Mr McGurk.
We have a great term coming up. We will be looking at some Myths and Legends as well as exploring how and who made New Zealand the way it is. Our main focus for Maths this term will be Addition and Subtraction as well as looking at Geometry with shape and transformation.
In Religious Education we will be studying The Life of Jesus and The Holy Spirit. If it seems like we are a little bit starry-eyed this term it might be because we will be investigating the solar system and the huge distances from planet to planet.
In Sports some of us will have opportunities to represent the school in a Football Tournament as well as the upcoming Cross Country Event. Starting from Week 2 we will also be going to Nairnville to experience a variety of different sports skills.
We are all looking forward to having a great Term 2.
