Wellington Ballet

WELLINGTON BALLET offers ballet for children from the age of 3 – adult. We teach the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet syllabus in four locations: Khandallah Bowling Club, Khandallah Town Hall and the Johnsonville and Newlands Community Centres. DancePointe Academys  

DancePointe Academy is a Classical Ballet School teaching children from pre-schoolers through to young adults the enjoyment of dance with an inclusive family culture and exams and competitions if desired.  Ballet classes for pre-schoolers 4yrs – young adults.  Tap Classes from 6 years of age (5 years if learning ballet).    Enrolments open for Term 4 and Term 1 of 2018.   For information regarding classes at both St Peters & Pauls and St Johns in Johnsonville and for a free trial class

Springboard & Platform Diving at Kilbirnie Pool

Wellington Diving Club has a range of diving classes for kids aged 5 years and up (plus separate Adult training sessions).

Kelly Sports Term 4

Kelly Sports will be back in Term 4 with their fun and exciting classes. Kelly Sports encourages children to have fun, build confidence and to give sport a go. We believe that sport and physical activity has so much to offer young people; it improves fitness, develops communication skills, team work and gives them a place to channel their energy.

Kelly Sports Summer Fun in the Sun! (Yrs 1-4) – Tuesdays 3.05pm-4.05pm

Come and try Football, Tball, Athletics and Basketball. It’s a great way to try new sports, learn new skills and improve ability. We use games & drills to teach game sense and team play. Learn the fundamental skills for all sports – throwing, running, jumping, striking, balance and many more – all while having a great time!

Music lessons

Your child can learn how to play the keyboard at St Benedicts. The lessons are run during school hours and all ages are welcome! The Wellington Music Academy has been providing music lessons in the Wellington region for over 23 years. Our experienced and enthusiastic teachers will ensure all lessons are fun and appropriate for your child’s level of musical development. SUN, SAND & SURF – Maranui Junior Surf season starts on SUNDAY 5th NOVEMBER 2017. Summer is approaching, so now is the time to register with Maranui Surf Life Saving Club. Junior Surf is a great way for children to make friends, be active and enjoy the beach in a safe environment. Come along to our Registration and Club Open Day on Sunday 29 October, 12pm – 3pm. See what’s happening at the club this season, meet coaches, lifeguards and athletes, have a look around the surf clubhouse, register and become a member, information on junior surf, seniors, becoming a lifeguard and information on hiring the club. Science working for New Zealand

The occasion is the milestone of 25 years since Crown Research Institutes were established and our heritage goes back much longer than that. As part of the festivities we are hosting two days of informative and interesting public talks as well as an interactive exhibition for all ages at Te Papa in Wellington

Wonderplay drama classes have places available this term for 4-8 and 9-12 year olds as well as teens in our famous Young Actors Class.
